The FDA is lying to you
There are research studies, and there are research studies.
Some types of studies are done purposely to obtain a predefined outcome. These types of studies are junk.
Other types of studies are done to find the truth. In the arena of pharmaceuticals, drugs, health supplements, etc. they call these types of studies "double-blind and placebo controlled".
The FDA is trying to fool people right now into believing that ephedrine is dangerous.
Now I'm not saying it doesn't have side effects in a MINISCULE percentage of the population ... but the truth is that given its INCREDIBLE effectiveness, ephedrine is probably the safest of all the diet drugs out there.

That's a snap shot of a double-blind placebo controlled study.
You see, how such a study works is one group of researchers first put a placebo into one bottle, and mark it A, and in the next bottle, they put the actual drug, and mark it B.
Then another group of researchers, who have ZERO contact with the first, randomly decide which bottle to give to which group at the start of the study.
The first researchers that sort the drugs have no idea which bottle will be given to which group.
The second researchers that actually decide which bottle to give to which group of study participants have no idea which bottle contains the placebo and which the real drug.
Only at the end of the study when the results are put together does anyone know.
That is done that way to prevent researchers from inadvertently affecting the outcome of the study.
And the end result is that for the very vast majority of people, ephedrine is safe if taken properly.
Yes, you will want to consult with a COMPETANT medical professional (note how I didn't just say a doctor) that actually has knowledge and expertise in the field before you begin any weightloss regimine.
But let me recommend that you go with a print out of the study just in case you end up going to an idiot.
